Pain Management

“Every problem comes to make us or break us. The choice is ours, whether we become victims or victorious.”

Hypnotherapy is becoming more and more recognised for pain management, specifically for dentistry and conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), due to the positive visual aspects of hypnosis. (see news article below for more info)

Hypnohealing tends to be the most effective and commonly used practice in such cases.
This assumption is largely based on ancient eastern philosophies on how the mind affects the body. The western medicalisation of illness causes a divide between physical illness and its link to the mind and how we feel, which can negatively impact the efficacy of your treatment. (Barber & Westland, 2011)

Rest assured … I will deal with this.

Hypnohealing enables you to take control of your illness by learning how to relax. Often the stress and anxiety that is linked to the experience can make it worse. Through relaxation, you can gain confidence in taking control of your symptoms by practicing your new powerful ‘self-hypnosis’ techniques, which eases the symptoms in a surprisingly short space of time.
